Mental Case is great! But...
I cannot find a single good program that allows you to type your answer instead of just view it.
I know I am in the minority, but this is a function that helps me learn. The best program i have used is "Cram Session." It is not compatible with OSX Lion and the developer doesn't exist any more.
Smartr is a great program for the mac, but they impose a
learning method that limits the number of words you can study by
the day.
Most of the online programs (quizlet) don't allow typed answers
either.
Why is this so difficult? Or rather, why am I so difficult? I know it isn't developer's fault, but I could sure use an option or two in the current programs.

Hi Blair,
Mental Case does allow you to type your answer, at least in the new Mental Case 2 version. There is a text field at the bottom of slideshows. Just start typing, and press enter when you are finished. It will compare with the next facet, and see if you are right.
Kind regards,
Drew
