Mental case syncing problem between Macbook Pro and iPhone 4
I just purchased this product on my mac because it was suggested to me as a very helpful flashcard resource. I have been COMPLETELY unsatisfied with it... this was a total waste of my money! I have spent HOURS trying to figure out how to connect my iPhone with the flashcards I have created on my mac, but with NO success, whether I was trying to use bluetooth, iCloud, or any other connection device. I have tried connecting using the Mental Case and Mental Case 2, and neither has what is needed. When I upgraded to Mental Case 2 on my iPhone, hoping that it would provide connectivity, the only option it gave me was to add the files from my Mental Case library (which I don't have, since I CANNOT access them from my mac). I am in med school and thought this would be helpful, but it has been nothing but an incredible waste of time and frustration. Very very dissatisfied with the product. In it's current state, it is completely useless to me.

I'm sorry you are not happy with the product, but it does work as advertised.
With Mental Case 2, simply turn on iCloud in the preferences of the Mac app, wait about 15 minutes for the data to upload, then (after upgrading), turn on iCloud sync in the iOS app.
If you just want to transfer flashcards, you can use an online service like cram.com or quizlet.com, or you can select a stack on the Mac, choose File > Export..., export it in Mental Case 2 Archive format. Move the file to Dropbox, and download and open the file in the Dropbox app on your phone. It will import the file in Mental Case 2.
If you are more specific about exactly what you have tried, I can probably help. If you want a refund, you can contact the Mac App Store or iTunes App Store and request one.
Kind regards,
Drew

This is what the program does when I attempt to connect to iCloud or even wirelessly or through bluetooth. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the program. I have restarted my phone several times. There is some sort of a bug in the system, as the correct page comes up but is immediately masked by a "Preparing migration" window, followed by a "Expanding data" and "migrating" window. Then it returns to the "Downloading" and "Data Migration" options as the only "sharing" options.

I couldn't open the attachment. What sort of file is it?
When you delete the app and reinstall, it is no longer upgraded, and doesn't have the iCloud sync options and other sharing options.
To upgrade again, when you launch the app, you need to tap the 'Upgrade' button, then the Restore Purchase button, to reinstall the upgrade (free, assuming you already purchased).
Kind regards,
Drew
