I cannot wait one day to refresh my flashcard schedule.

Is there any way that I can use leitner system that is like

OR i can shorten the lesson period less than one day like 30 min
or 60 min

soontag:mentalfaculty.tenderapp.com,2010-10-19:Comment/69314292011-05-01T13:46:55Z2011-05-01T13:46:55Zcan I use simple leitner system in mental case or shorten the repeating period less than one day?

The scheduling is all day based. We are adding cramming modes in
version 2, which is coming soon.

For now, in order to cram you should probably just use the
non-lesson slideshows. Wrong notes are repeated a number of times,
so it works a bit like a Leitner method.

find it?

Kim Saltetag:mentalfaculty.tenderapp.com,2010-10-19:Comment/69314292011-12-06T10:27:58Z2011-12-06T10:27:58Zcan I use simple leitner system in mental case or shorten the repeating period less than one day?

Yes, on the Mac, there is a cram mode. Just double click any
stack, and choose 'Cramming' as the study schedule.
To refresh the due notes, use Notes > Update Due Status of All
Notes.

already?)

Robert

Roberttag:mentalfaculty.tenderapp.com,2010-10-19:Comment/69314292012-05-03T09:52:11Z2012-05-03T09:52:11Zcan I use simple leitner system in mental case or shorten the repeating period less than one day?

The plan is to add it, but I can't give any time frame.
If you sync with the Mac, the Mac schedules the notes. So if you
are using the cram mode on the Mac, you are effectively using it on
the iPhone too, though you would need to sync after each slideshow
to get new due notes, which may not be ideal.

Note that if you study a standard slideshow on iPhone, and mark
a note wrong, by default it is repeated up to 4 times in the
current slideshow. This is very similar to a short term leitner,
where wrong notes are repeated often.

Kind regards,

Unfortunately, this (and the missing cloud sync) is a "deal
breaker" for me. I really enjoy the look and feel of the desktop
client, but being able to revise effectively on the iPhone is kind
of essential.

However, good to hear that you are working on it, maybe I can
switch back to mental case once the iOS app has been updated.

Robert
