managing view of multiple facets in edit mode
Hi,
a thing I liked about mental case, is that it could let me view in the edit mode all the facets of a note at once, showing only the part of the facet that's actually having information (see screenshot). It sufficed to simply drag the corner of one of the notes of a note to the desired size (minimizing it) so I could see all the facets at once. This was very handy for quick editing.
In studies, I don't seem to be able to do this anymore.
The facet always keeps a two-part presentation, even when a part is empty, eating up screen estate uselessly... (see screenshot).
Moreover, minimizing the facet only works in the vertical way, not the horizontal way, so I never get to see all the facets of a note at once.
This seems like a regretful drawback to me, or is it just a bug?

Hi Peter,
Actually, Studies always fills the space, making better use of it than Mental Case, which would leave large gaps between facets.
You can still have multiple facets in one row. Just make sure you drag the resize so that the two facets will fit. You can drag it as thin as possible.
The facets will then be two per row, unless that will not fit, at which point it goes back to 1 per row to maximally use the space.
Kind regards,
Drew

Hi,
there's two things that annoy me.
First of all : Studies ALWAYS displays both the text part and the multimedia part of a facet, even when one of them is empty (and is going to remain so), resulting in a waste of space.
Secondly, when I drag the right corner of a facet to the far up and far left, the minimizing effect only works upwards, thus still filling the screen in landscape orientation.
I don't seem to be able to have multiple rows at a time.
Posted short mov of what I did.

Do you have more than one facet? It is working fine here (see screenshot).
If it continues to fail, even with multiple facets, I recommend restarting the computer. Maybe the preferences are messed up.

Do you know why it wasn’t? What was the problem?
