when combining a facet containing both an image and text, it eats the baseline of the text.
The distortion is obviously bigger when selecting a big size of text, but from standard to smallest it yields the same problem.

istudiestag:mentalfaculty.tenderapp.com,2010-10-19:Comment/431061662017-08-01T07:13:24Z2017-08-01T07:13:24Zfacet with text+image eats text

Hmm, that looks like a bug indeed. How did you create that text? Is that using a default font of Palantino, or did you select the text and change the font just for that word? It looks a lot bigger than 'Standard' size, so I guess you increased the size of that word, right?

I see the popover his also super wide. My copy doesn't do that. Do you perhaps have a really long font name in the popover?

i started with palatino @36 in text editing app.
pasted in studies.
selected standard size.

Funny enough, when exporting to iOS, note content is displayed differently : the text sitting next to the image, whereas in os X, it's underneath (and that's how i would like it to be in iOS).

dunno what you mean with the popover.
thanks

istudiestag:mentalfaculty.tenderapp.com,2010-10-19:Comment/431061662017-08-02T11:16:58Z2017-08-02T11:16:58Zfacet with text+image eats text

Just adding as a question : is there a way to have studies always have text displayed UNDER an image instead as next to it ?

istudiestag:mentalfaculty.tenderapp.com,2010-10-19:Comment/431061662017-08-03T10:03:55Z2017-08-03T10:03:55Zfacet with text+image eats text

The layout is changed based on screen. If you rotate to portrait mode, it should have text and image stacked vertically.

that's for sure, but it dramatically slims down the size of the image.
Would there be a way to add an OPTION to have landscape mode for a given stack, so as to be able to maximize the image, while always having the text underneath it ?

istudiestag:mentalfaculty.tenderapp.com,2010-10-19:Comment/431061662017-08-04T12:06:03Z2017-08-04T12:06:03Zfacet with text+image eats text

Putting text under be image in landscape would almost always make the image even smaller.

We have an option to double tap the image to zoom in. I recommend that for when the image is not very readable. You can even pinch zoom.

Kind regards,
=> unless the image itself is landscape oriented, as in my case. => as a test, i took a screen capture in iOS in portrait mode : it doesn't make the image smaller.

What would be nice, is the possibility to have a landscape pic stretched to the full width of the flashcard (in that case i already have it at maximum size, so no need to zoom in), with the legend underneath to keep the image intelligible.

istudiestag:mentalfaculty.tenderapp.com,2010-10-19:Comment/431061662017-08-05T18:10:14Z2017-08-05T18:10:14Zfacet with text+image eats text

I think the image would still be smaller, because the limiting dimension is the very small height. Even with a landscape image, you can’t use the full width without stretching the image out of proportion . The available height would be insufficient.

Kind regards,
