You can't do exactly what you want, but you probably already know you can see a graph for any set of notes that you select and study. So you could select the first 10 notes, and make a session for the 'selected notes'. The graphs that appear in the study session under 'statistics' are for those notes only. When you are happy with those, you could move on to the next 10 etc.

We have considered adding a new type of stack we call a 'list'. It wouldn't actually contain the notes, but just aliases for them. The idea is you could drag notes in to create an ad hoc collection. Perhaps that would go a long way to what you are thinking, though it would be a fixed list of notes, not a rule.

You can use Smart Stacks to generate rules. Perhaps you can come up with something that gathers together a set of notes based on dates, tags or similar. Might be another way to do something like what you are asking for.

But mostly, I would say you are better just relying on our built in scheduling algorithms. They are already optimized for efficient learning, generating random daily collections to study. Stats for each stack are available, and already give you a goal to improve your retention.

Kind regards,
