Number of notes in stacks

hi,

would be really nice if the number of notes is displayed on the right hand side in the browser (screenshot).

   This one ended up in Spam for some reason.

   Anyway, the answer is that we used to have exactly that feature. The predecessor to Studies, Mental Case, had the total number, and the due number. The problem is you get a lot of clutter. Every row has a number.

   So what we decided was that the 'due' number is the really important one, and put that there. We put the total number at the top of the right panel when you select the row. The All Notes also has the total number, because otherwise it would just duplicate Due Notes.

   Hope that at least explains why we did it, even if it is not totally satisfying.

   Yes, maybe it is, but i doubt thats the right place to put it. I guess thats learnt from other apps.. Have a look at the screenshot, I mean .. wtf?

   What am I looking at? Is this a bug, or is it because Loose Notes or Trash has some notes which are not show?

   I can’t. I don’t know how you made the image.

   Did you make any notes in Loose Notes, or trash notes? Click on those to see.

   How did you get this Library? Is it a fresh install? Are you syncing with another device?

   I can’t test you app, so I don’t know how you got to screenshot. My questions were suggestions for things you could try to determine what was ‘wrong’ (if anything).

   Thats the state of the app after the described process and after creating a new test stack and note.

    I can't empfhasize enough and one last time how confusing it is how studies displays numbers of notes in the interface. Did you ever seriously learned stuff with your own program?!

    78 notes in total. All Notes shows the total count, not due count.

    For the record, yes, have used the app to learn lots of things in my spare time.

    Ok, the total count. And in the stacks section not the total count but the number of due notes, right?

    Yes, everything except All Notes shows due count.
