Did you ever come up with a solution for adding an additional "explanation" slide after each multiple choice slide? (as discussed back in 2014: https://mentalfaculty.tenderapp.com/discussions/suggestions/3561-note-in-multiple-choice-stack)

For example:
Q: Which snake bite results in respiratory failure and death?
   Correct Choice: Coral snake
   Choice: Rattlesnake
   Choice: Cottonmouth (water moccasin)
   Choice: Copperhead snake
   Choice: All of the above
Explanation: Coral snakes are part of the Elapidae family, whereas the remaining snakes listed are part of the Crotalidae family. Elapidae venom is neurotoxic. Victims experience minimal pain and swelling at the bite site. However, signs of neurotoxicity may develop rapidly leading to delirium, tremors, drowsiness, hypersalivation, cranial nerve abnormalities (dysarthria, diplopia, and dysphagia) and respiratory muscle paralysis, leading to respiratory failure and death.

The multiple choice layout is fairly useless without this feature. I hope there is a solution or work-around - I'm not savvy enough to figure it out! Please let me know! Much appreciated

No, we haven't added anything like that at this point.

I think if you want to learn that way, you may be better not to use the quiz option, but just construct multi-faceted notes.

    Eg.
Question Facet: Which snake bite results in respiratory failure and death and why? Coral snake, Rattlesnake, Cottonmouth (water moccasin), Copperhead snake, All of the above

    Answer facet: Coral Snake

    Explanation facet: see above

In other words, use a different form than the quiz, and just formulate answers and explanations in your head. That is probably the best way to learn anyway. Quizzes are actually a weaker form of learning. (This has actually been tested scientifically.)

The suggestion is on our feature request list, but we receive many feature requests and have to prioritize.

    Kind regards,
    Drew
