where is the library folder for Studies in Big Sur
Hi,
I'm upgrading from Catalina to Big Sur. However, I'm going to go back to an earlier Time Machine backup before I do this. I'll go to ~/Library/Containers/com.mentalfaculty.studies.mac and save the folder so that I can replace the one in the earlier backup once I load it.
But where do I find the app's folder in Big Sur? I loaded Big Sur, but I notice the folder is not in the same place. Just want to make sure I replace the right folder.
Thanks

Nevermind. I see that is in the same location, but apparently, while still having the name "com.mentalfaculty.studies.mac", it shows in Finder with the alias "Studies".
This became apparent to me when I copied the "Studies" folder in this location and pasted it to my Desktop, where its name appeared as com.mentalfaculty.studies.mac" instead.

Hi,
glad you managed it. There is also handy way to open app dir - if you launch Studies holding option key, service menu will appear and there will be a button to open app data dir in finder.
Kind regards,
Vlad
