Problems moving from version 1.x to 2.x
Hi Guys,
I'm a med student who recently upgraded from 1.x to 2.x. I've been holding off b/c I need to have access to my cards on my iPhone this year, but I need to point out a couple shortcomings in the 2.x version that I think need to be addressed:
1) Slide Size: The amount of screen space available to slides is a fraction of what it was. I have a lot of lists and images I need to squeeze into single slides and 2.x is making this extremely hard, even with the 'zoom' feature. Size wasn't nearly this much of a problem in the last version. Please consider a slide-viewing option that allows slides to use the entire screen.
2) Table view for slides: I absolutely relied on this in 1.x to sort my slides by date reviewed, date due, % complete, etc. and quickly select slides that needed review. The study programs can be useful, but I also need to be able to select specific slides on the fly for review for the sake of efficiency -- relying on the study plans is not always the best approach. Missing the table view is a MAJOR headache. I know this discussion has come up in the past and the response has been that this is a consequence of having multiple facets -- I'm puzzled by this since the data is stored in a database. Can't a view be added that presents slides without the facet information, but which does present fields outlined above?
3) Keyboard Shortcuts:
- Tabbing b/w Slides: I can no longer tab from one facet to the
next. Can this be added back? - version 1.x allows pasting an image
on the clipboard directly into the slide. Can this be added
back?

A couple things I'd like to add in terms of features that were discontinued in the move from 1.x to 2.x:
1) Resuming the slide show: This is a big loss. If I need to stop mid-review to edit a card I have to start from the beginning. In 1.x I could simply select 'resume slide show' from the menu.
2) Right/Wrong Answers Locked: I occasionally hit incorrectly mark a card as right or wrong, but I can't go back and change this once I've marked it. This was not the case in 1.x.
