moving note from one stack to another, both with spaced-rep scheduling...

If both stacks have the same scheduling selected, in this case spaced-repetition and reversible two-sided cards, will the scheduling for a card be reset when I move it from one stack to the other so that it is now scheduled as if it is a brand new card?

I have some cards that I feel might be a better fit in another stack, but it is not so important that I would want to lose it's scheduling history. If moving it means it will be treated as a brand new card that I have never studied before, I'd rather just leave it where it is.

I'm afraid it does. Each stack has its own scheduler, so the schedule would start again I'm afraid. Better to leave them if you don't want that.
    Kind regards,
