But there does not seem to be any other keyboard shortcuts to
navigate the list, is that right? Arrow keys, vim style or google
reader navigation does nothing for me.

Stanley Rosttag:mentalfaculty.tenderapp.com,2010-10-19:Comment/195047302012-10-10T23:36:12Z2012-10-10T23:36:13ZCream keyboard navigation

I love the idea of Cream, but without keyboard shortcuts it's

We didn't include arrows, because when you open a story in
Cream, it marks it as a good story. If you arrow through, you may
be opening a lot of stories you don't really like.

We are thinking about ways to get around this issue and
introduce arrow navigation in a future update.

Thanks for the feedback.
Right arrow opens in browser.
We aren't supporting up and down at this point, because when you
open a post, you are effectively marking the story as good. If you
quickly use the down arrow, you would be marking a whole lot of
stories as good.
We are currently weighing up options for how best to allow keyboard
nav, and still have useful data on whether you like a story or
not.
Thanks for the feedback.
Wanted to get some feedback on keyboard navigation to help us
decide which way to go. Imagine you can choose from the following
three cases. Which would you take?

1) Up and down arrows move the row selection, and the popover
opens on each row
2) Up and down arrows don't move the selection, but instead just
scroll the list, one row at a time. Pressing the right arrow
selects the first row and opens the popover.
3) Up and down arrows move the row selection, but the popover does
not open, unless you press the right arrow.

Kind regards,
marking them read, then "like" articles that are opened in Safari
(or instapaper...etc)

Scotttag:mentalfaculty.tenderapp.com,2010-10-19:Comment/195047302012-10-12T05:49:02Z2012-10-12T05:49:02ZCream keyboard navigation

I would prefer scenario 3. And maybe the Enter/return key could
also be used to open the popover.

You could also add keyboard shortcut to mark a read article as
unread and to access the filter menu.

Regards,
