As the below image said, who study Japanse (or others language) really need this card type: a card where WE CAN DRAW the kanji. There are no app where we can do that!

In the first card we do the question:
1) FIRE

In the second card WE HAVE TO DRAW on the our smarthphone the kanji
2) DRAWING

In the third card we ca see if we have done the correct kanji
3)火

Please MAKE CARDS WHERE WE CAN DRAW! Add an option: audio, images and TO DRAW SOMETHING!
This is what we really need!

    Hi. Thanks for the answer.

    I'd like to ask you:

-In mental case there is a SRS like ANKI or we have a very simple srs where we can ONLY chose V or X?? (right or wrong)

-Can we import cards/deck from Anki?

-I think that a graphic more close to Memrise can be better.

-I can't sync my iPhone app with the Macapp.... (please could you tell me what I have to do?) Why don't you put an iClud sync for ALL your app??

    Thanks.

5 levels of grading does little up improve the algorithm, and only distracts you from concentrating on your content. We just support I knew it' and 'I didn't know it'. Anything else is just distracting.

You can't import Anki decks at this point. You can import CSV and TSV, so if you can export those, maybe it's an option.

iCloud syncing is very difficult. Very few apps support it, other than for very simple data. Mental Case has complex data, and potentially large media files. We are working on bringing this to iOS, but it is a challenge.

To sync is wifi, connect both devices to the same wifi network. On iOS tap Start Sync. In the Mac look for the Devices section on the left, and select your device.

    Kind regards,
    Drew

Yes! I agree with sameer. There is definitely support for drawing functionality. It would be AMAZING! : set the program apart from all desktop flashcard apps and all Ipad apps that I know of. It would exploit the uniquely tactile feel of learning on the ipad and remove the hyperdependence on heyboard.

I agree so very much re. the drawing. I do use Skritter, which largely does this -- but you have something good here -- why not make it truly great? All-around cohesive functionality (multiple sensory accession of language via reading AND writing AND aural) is key to any language, but WAAAY more so in Japanese / Chinese.

Are you all up to it? Secondarily, are you certain the Search functions are "fall off a log" easy, yet? I always have to hunt and hunt (and hunt...!) for things. MANY things I input (in the simplest way) in Search engine -- (titles" of Cases should be SO easy, yes?) are NOT found when using the "Search" function.

No matter how good you eventually are, if I can't find the water, should I drink "elsewhere"?

Drawing functionality is certainly on our radar. Thanks for the feedback.

Which search do you have problems with? Your own notes, or online services? I'm afraid we don't really control the online search.

If you mean search of your own notes, how do you think it should be improved?

In my opinion, it is a false way.
