Hey, so I have been a big supporter of mentalcase for a while. (had it before mac appstore and all) and i tell everyone about it. so thanks for the great product.
suggestion 1: I recently came across Anki. its a great app with a cool learning system but not as pretty as mentalcase. it would be awesome that in addition to the correct and incorrect button there was a button to loop the wrong answer really soon after you saw it. The app's goal is memorization and i think adhering to the latest research keeps the app competitive.
(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spaced_learning) suggestion 2: goes along with 1. the app isnt as intuitive as it seems. playing slides is great and writing them is also. but scheduling your own study sessions and .... I'm kind of scared of that screen menu. make it more intuitive. maybe make an intuitive way... and an advanced way. i just want to study, not schedule my studying.
suggestion 3: this is a minor request. the new flashcard exchange storefronts are pretty but too limited. on the webiste one can search for card sets with pictures and previews help a lot to figure out of the cards are what you are looking for before downloading.

I am happy to hear the ios app is going through beta testing to remove many limitations and be more up to par with the mac version.

    Hi Milo,

    Thanks for the feedback.

Re: suggestion 1, we already have something like that. In the slideshow settings, you can indicate if you want wrong slides to repeat at the end, and/or just after you get them wrong.

Re: scheduling, this is a design decision, and there is no right/wrong answer. If you want to control the schedule in great detail, you probably want Anki. We opted for as simple an approach as we could think of: you choose a schedule based on your needs, and then just study the due notes each day. Couldn't be much more easy in my view, but that is not everyone's cup of tea. If you want control, you probably need a different product. To change Mental Case to do that would require a completely new app.

The flashcard exchange feedback is good, thanks. We will think about ways to add previews.

    Kind regards,
    Drew
