Can't get "computer to computer" Wifi connection for iPad to receive from OS. Why can't I use charging cord to sync, as with uploading iPhoto from iPad into OS?
I tried the same network, tried creating one (and removing firewall) -- the iPad spins endlessly and says the usual stuff.
What now? I want to input on the MacAir, then be able to receive that data on the iPad. But it's not working.
I wish we could keep this info in an online server, as with Skritter (Japanese / Chinese Kanji study application).

Hi There,
You can sync Mental Case for Mac OS X with an iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad running Mental Case. The sync is not via USB, like iTunes, but goes over a Wi-Fi (Airport) network.
In order to sync, the Mac and iOS device must be on the same network, and same subnet. If you use a home network, usually this will be the case, but if you are in a cafe, school, college, or business environment, there is a good chance that the two will not be on the same subnet, and will not see each other as a result. In this situation, you could try to setup a computer-to-computer network to do the sync.
If you have a firewall, like Little Snitch, you will probably need to turn it off during syncing.
