accessing my Flashcard Exchange notes with MC2
I went to import some new notes. On MC1it takes maybe 1 1/2 seconds tops to find my public notes. Yet on MC2 all I was getting was the message "Downloading..." .
So I checked Flashcard Exchange > Account Settings in the app, and the wrong email address was loaded as my Flashcard Exchange user ID. Not sure where the program pull this email address from, but its not the one I have loaded in MC1.
Anyway just thought I'd let you know that it didn't migrate the correct user ID.
Now as far as the ultimate loading of the new stacks onto my iPod, syncing the ipod to the cloud, syncing the desktop to the cloud and using the desktop to move the stacks to the correct case within the hierarchy I have set up, then syncing again desktop to cloud and finally cloud to iPod, this all went very fast and smooth this time I am happy to report. It never asked me if I wanted to keep the data on the desktop/ipod or keep the data on the iCloud this time at anywhere in the process. So I can only hope it knows what it's doing now. :)
It certainly appears to have worked correctly.

It doesn't actually migrate user settings, just data, which explains the account.
But it is very odd that there would already be an account filled in. Do you know what it was?

it is another email address that I use, but not for Flashcard Exchange. To see if I had ever set one up using this other email address in the past, I used the forgot password link on F. Exchange and it said there was "no account associated with that email address."
So I guess that is somehow populated an email address I had associated with Mental Case originally for these forums. There were issues with my login here using it that you couldnt solve and so I had to switch to this current one in order to be able to login to this site. This was a couple of years ago.
