Thank you for writing in. You can use the up or down arrow to
quickly mark you answer. Left and right for moving through the
stack.

We used to have a system very similar to what you suggest. We
changed this because it was confusing what the second 'grade'
meant. Are you saying you have seen enough of the slide in this
slideshow, or are you saying you actually now consider it correct
and have it treated correct for the study schedule?

We have a few new elements to compensate. In the Custom
Slideshow settings, under Advanced, you can have a repeat at the
end and a repeat shortly after. So you can get two repeats like
that. This setting applies to all future slideshows after you
change it.

We also added a 'Last Graded Wrong' slideshow, and Recently
Incorrect stack. These enable you to keep studying the notes you
marked wrong should you want to do that. You create a slideshow
just with those wrong notes.

Usually the 2 repeats, plus the fact that a 'wrong' note appears
due again much sooner in future, is a good approach for most
people.

Best,

to clarify how I study actual note cards, I start with ~50 cards in
my right hand. When i get one right I put it in my right hand
again, but behind and separate from the original 50 card stack. The
next card I get right does the same but in front of the previous
card i got right. the third card I get right again goes behind but
behind the previous two cards. the fourth card goes in front of the
correct start in my right hand and so fourth. Once I am about 10
cards deep when I get to a card i get wrong and have to start over,
I start dropping cards into a stack on my deck marked easy
(sometimes put it behind -and with- the original 50 card stack to
review again). Additionally, there are times when I don't restart
till I get 2 or three cards wrong- this is useful for larger stacks
of cards. Thanks for the reply! Mike Hermansen
