Mental Case quits (or crashes) after trying to start it.

I just downloaded it. copied to applications folder. Tried to start it. Mental Case quits (or crashes) after trying to start it. message says "The application Mental Case quit unexpectedly."

I have it on my Macbook, operating system OS X 10.4.11. Before I bought it, I looked around on mental case website for version requirements. I didn't see anything. All my other applications work fine as usual. I search forum but didn't find anyone with problem crashing on their computer.

What is the deal?

It appears that the version that tries to automatically update is not compatible with my OS. When I re-read the last users issue and one of your resolution was to install a older version. http://d1dhwsle4n5iz2.cloudfront.net/mentalcase/releases/MentalCase...

That version worked on my computer and I can access my older flashcards. You should put a statement on your website that your latest version does NOT work with OS 10.4.11 and put links to older versions on your website. It would be quicker for users to solve their individual problems.

    Hi Shirley,
I'm glad you have sorted it out. We did put a warning in the update message, but maybe you missed that.
We'll add some text about 10.4.
    Kind regards,
    Drew

Is there a way to make certain letters subscript when I'm inputting
    scientific formula?

    Ex. W(sub total) = ma(sub x) Δt

Other than using an image, no. True formatting, with subscripts, is coming in version 2.0.

    Kind regards,
    Drew
