new version for ipad doesn't work

i downloaded the new update for my ipad and now it doesn't let me do the slideshow. Pushing the slideshow button does nothing, i need the old version back i have so much information on this app

   Hi Faith,
   We are looking into this problem, and there should be a fix in a few days.
   If you can't wait, one option is to restore a backup of your iPad with iTunes. This might bring back the old version. Note that it also restores all other apps too.

   There was a bug in 4.1.1. Please upgrade to 4.1.2.
