Downloading Study Archive

Hi there,

I'm a teacher, and I'm evaluating using the Mental Case for Mac program (for me) and the Mental Case Classroom Edition (for my students). As a test, I created a new case with 25 notes, each with audio. I have exported this as a study archive, and uploaded it to Dropbox. On my iPad, I have downloaded the study archive to my iPad.

Here's my problem: all of my notes are going into my loose notes bin, and not into a separate case. My plans for the classroom would be to make different cases for each chapter that I cover in my four different classes. I want my students to be able to navigate to different cases, so I can tell them "study Chapter 6 vocabulary for the next quiz" or "on the final, you will need to review the cases for Chapter 7-10" or whatever. I expect that the majority of my students will be using the Classroom Edition on the school iPod Touches or on their home systems.

I can "organize" my loose notes one by one, but I can't figure out how to batch select and move all (or multiple) loose notes into a case. I can't expect my students to be together enough to organize their loose notes into cases, one by one.

Is there anything else I can do? Should I be exporting in a different format?

Thanks,
Bill

    Hi Bill,
I think this has to do with how you are exporting. You should select the cases you want exported. Make sure no notes are selected, only cases. Then export. It should then export the cases properly.
    Kind regards,
    Drew
