When I created my flashcards online at flashcard exchange I used all three sides. The cards downloaded on my phone and when I tried to study them on flashcard exchange website omitted the third side. If I open up the flashcards to edit the third side is there...? Is this just not supported by mentalcase? AH! help, finals on MONDAY!!!!

    HI Cheryl,
I'm afraid Mental Case only supports 2 sides at this time. We are in the process of adding unlimited sides for notes.
Doesn't help with your finals though, sorry. I guess you can study in your browser on the computer.
    Kind regards,
    Drew

    Hi Cheryl,
We have a major upgrade to the Mac coming in a few weeks. It has unlimited sides.
The iPhone app will only be updated after that release, probably in about 4 months.
    Kind regards,
    Drew

What's the status of this for the iPod version? I like the use of multiple facets for the cards in the Mac version, but the lack of multiple facets on the iPod is a major limitation. Thanks,

    Tom

    Hi Tom,
It is a major undertaking. We have to change the whole way data is stored, so that iCloud works.
I'm afraid it will be 3-4 months still.
For now you will just have to restrict yourself to 2 sides, or study 3 sided notes on the Mac.
    Sorry.
    Kind regards,
    Drew

I think the biggest issue is that, the fact that three sided is not supported really needed to be made more clear in your review and advertising information, after modifying 900 some cards and integrating many of them in to three sided cards specifically for the studying on my iPhone it is pretty frustrating to find this out, especially when the Flashcard Exchange so strongly touts the ability to make multi sided cards. Just my two cents for clearer communication with your potential customers.

It is stated pretty clearly in the sync section of the Mac app store.

We support FCE, but are a different company. Same with Quizlet. They have some features we don't have, and vice versa. Our next major upgrade should close those gaps.

    Kind regards,
    Drew
