hello
i am trying to make study cards for aviation.
the manuals we are given come in PDF format
i would like to copy diagrams and memory items in the form of a "picture snapshot" from within the PDF file and convert this to your program to aid with study.
is there a way to do this.?
Thank you for any assistance you may be able to offer.
I am presently using flashcard exchange to write my cards before exporting to your program. This only allows .jpeg/.txt/.mp3 files to be uploaded.
Would a an imac or ipad assist in making this process easier? I am looking to upgrate computers soon.
Sincerely
Simon

    Hi Simon,
This sort of thing is a lot easier on the Mac. The Mac app can make screengrabs of any app. You can also drag and drop any media that the Mac can display, including single page PDFs. So it should be more flexible than FCE for data entry.
Entry on iOS is a lot more limited. You can add photos from your photo library, but that is about it I'm afraid.
You can prepare study archives directly on your PC. This may be a bit easier. See

    Hope that helps.
    Kind regards,
    Drew
