Audio not playing correctly

Hi, I've just downloaded the trial and had a go at creating some language training cards (notes). The prompt is the pinyin of the mandarin words with associated audio of those words and obviously the content is the english translation. When I create the note and select the audio mp3 it plays fine, even when I preview the note prior to creating the next one. However, when I view notes in case or do a lesson, the audio on each note only plays about 1 second before starting again. If the audio was in english it would sound something like "Hello my..Hello my name is" rather than just "Hello my name is". It's a little annoying having this happen. Any ideas?

Hmm, that is odd. I have never heard of that happening.
Does it happen with all audio, or only the particular mp3s you have? Can you perhaps test with a different type of audio file?
Can I ask what OS you have, and what sort of Mac?

    Kind regards,
    Drew

    I have the same problem.
So I waited for about 5~10 seconds before slide to next card, then sounded well.
Quick slide has the problem, Slow slide plays sound well... that's my experience.
My mac is Macbook pro(2009 mid) with latest updated OS X Snow Loepard.
    Fix this, please.

Unfortunately, the current version of Mental Case has to use some older libraries for sound, because it supports Mac OS X 10.4.
The version we are working on now is for 10.6 and later, and has the most modern APIs, which work better.
Sorry for the inconvenience, but a solution is coming.

    Kind regards,
    Drew
