Do you have the iPhone or iPad app? If so, just go to the Exchange tab.
On the Mac, there is no built in downloading of flashcards yet. If you have a FlashcardExchange.com account, you can export in CSV format and import that.

i have iphone and ipad, imac, I downloaded free app but see that I
need to buy before downloading, never been to flashcardexchange will
look
never downloaded anything into csv unsure how to do that.

The easiest way to download cards is to buy either the iPhone or iPad app, and download directly from FCE there. You can sync notes back to the Mac.

ok thanks, i hate the idea of having to buy both and iphone app and a ipad app.
would be great if it was all one price.

The downside of that is that the iphone app would get more expensive. People with only an iPhone would be annoyed.
There is no perfect system.
