Still receiving "your preview period still has X days remaining"

Hi:

I am still receiving "your preview period still has X days remaining" after purchasing Mental Case from the App Store.

   Hi Michael,
   I suspect you have two copies installed. Best to go to Applications, and drag them both to the trash, and empty trash. Then go into the App Store and download again. It will be free if you already bought it.

   I has suspected that as well, and had already tried what you suggest. The problem is, when I go to Mental Case in the App Store, the icon shows it as 'purchased', and I see no option to download it again.

   Hi Michael,
   I had this once too. It was because there was still a copy on my disk somewhere. You need to empty trash, for example.
   If you can't find it, open terminal, and enter this

   open -b com.mentalfaculty.mentalcase.mac

   If the app opens, right click on the icon in the Dock, and choose Show in Finder.

   Ok, it seems to work now. I found and removed an additional copy that was lurking about.
