Trouble updating Mental Case on mac OS 10.6.6

Hi,

I haven't made any new notes in a while, and had not noticed that my version of Mental Case was out of date.
I currently have Mental Case version 1.4.5, and it says there is an update to 1.9

After downloading the update, it comes up with the message The update is improperly signed, and the only option is to cancel update.

    There was a bug in 1.4.5 in the update code.
    Just go to macflashcards.com, download the trial, and install that. It is exactly the same as the full version.
