Change order of Cases in Mac Mental Case

I don't seem to be able to change the order that cases are displayed on the mac. One can grab a case alright - but drag and drop doesn't work and I have not found any other way to order the cases in the order they should be.

I was typing a number of questions for each case and the cases are logically numbered. But I typed some of the into the ipad and synced later, which led to the cases being displayed illogically (i.e. case nr. 10 after 1 instead of 2).

Is there really no way within the mac application to just change the displayed order, or am I missing something here?

Thanks for any help...

Cases are ordered alphabetically at the moment. You could force an order by numbering them. Eg

    0010 case 1
    0020 case 2
    ....

Try ordering is coming in a few months.

I find this frustrating as well. I have my cases named as such "Chapter 1, Chapter 2, Chapter 3, etc." but once the chapters go above single digits they get inserted between chapter 1 and chapter 2, "Chapter 1, Chapter 10, Chapter 11, Chapter 12, Chapter 2, Chapter 3..." I don't want to have to put numbers before my cases to get them in order.

Secondly I wish there was an automatic dictionary generation in text content for dictionary definitions and such (obviously one that you could switch on and off.) I'm sure many customers create notes for vocab words, or foreign languages and a simple integration of google dictionary to automatically generate answers (definition and pronunciation) would save me a lot of time. And don't point me to flash card exchange I want automatic generation of answers for my own words that I input not someone else's list.

Third the flash cards often get thrown off center on my iphone randomly in the middle of a deck. Which is more un-asthetically pleasing than a real problem most of the time. But if the text is long I sometimes can't see all of it unless I reload the card, but if I'm studying the case and I flip past the card and back it will count me as having got the answer wrong.

We are working on case ordering and text formatting for the next major release. (Numbering 01, 02 etc is an option for the meantime.)

We will consider the dictionary idea, thanks.

At the moment I have solved the problem by just naming my file 01, 02, 03 instead of single digits. A drag and drop function would be cool though.

    Best regards,

    Vivien.

When I sync to my iPad, the stacks within a case show up alphabetically instead of the order that was on my laptop. Why? Why not simply have my iPad sync the cases in the same order as on my iPad? Putting them in alphabetical order makes zero sense. Solution?

You are correct. We have a major upgrade coming soon which includes the same manual ordering as the Mac. The current ordering is just the way we did it originally, also on the Mac, and haven't managed to change over yet on iPad.

    Stay tuned...

    Kind regards,

OK, and thanks for your prompt response. Can you provide rough idea on
    timing for upgrade?

Probably a month or two. No guarantees though. We don't have everything in our control.
