Studies 1.0.2. crashes with imported images
Hi,
there still seems to be a problem with Studies and images.
When i drag&drop the proxy icon of a preview.app's pdf, I get an error msg (see screenshot) and have to shut down Studies.
FWIW, I post the console's log :

Hi Peter,
I can't seem to reproduce this. I am probably not doing exactly what you are doing.
Can you explain in more depth what exactly you do? Perhaps a screenshot or two?
Kind regards,
Drew

ok, so I quit the app, launched again and launched a new batch.
It was just drag&dropping the saved PDF image this time, not its proxy icon.
Same thing : after 3 flashcards, I'm getting the same error message.
See joined .mov file and console log :

We discovered a bug in the tags a couple of days ago. The fix will be in the next release.
Could this be the same bug? What happens when you do the same thing without setting tags?
Note that you do not need to keep clicking Done. You can just hit New Note or the keyboard shortcut, and start straight in.
The files in this case are PDFs, correct?

I just did the same test. I was able to get the same problem as you, but only when using tags.
When I tested our internal build, which has the tags fix, it didn’t give a problem. So I think that is it.
We will submit the fix to Apple ASAP.

Hi, I did the test for myself as you said.
It went ok WITH tags for a while, but yielding the same error afterwards.
So I tried without tags and now all seems ok, so I guess you're right it's the tags.
We're talking PDFs all right.

I think it seems to go alright, but actually, there is already a problem. You only see the problem when Studies does one of its background saves.
I just submitted the fix to Apple. Fingers crossed it goes through fast.

yea that's right, when Studies gives the error saving msg, I loose a bunch of flashcards that seemed to be ok (but eventually are not being saved by Studies).
