The idea was most people will have
a large library on their Mac, and just want to sync some of it to
iOS. iOS devices are by nature much smaller and less powerful, so
not suitable for huge libraries.</p>
<p>So, in your case, it probably isn't going to help, unless you
move everything to the Mac and use the Mac to control what is
synced.</p>
<p>We may at some point add it on iOS, but probably not in the
short term.</p>

should work well. Above that should work too, but sync may start to
take a while.</p>
