Good Product, Bad Name
In the USA, "mental case" is an offensive term. Not sure if you knew that.

When I read your products name, then, I instinctually associate the pun that makes "fun" of people with mental illness. This is also why I am unlikely to buy it. I want to suggest that you have hit a nerve with certain people in the USA. You make good products. It may help you to modify the awkward name.

Yes, we are aware of that. We liked the double meaning, and we certainly don't mean it in an offensive way.
We have reclaimed the word, and are proud to be Mental Cases ;-)

I agree with what Drew said. They have reclaimed the word. My friends and I now only think of "mental case" as a study application. By not being open to changing your definition of the phrase "mental case" you are actually keeping the negative definition of it alive. Be part of the solution and join the mental case revolution!
