Hi,

now that we have TAG syncing in place, it would be highly appreciated if we were to be able to study sessions by selected TAGS or at least to be able to Filter Notes by TAGS and select that as a study session option on the fly, especially on iOS.

Is this in the making ?
thanks

You can do things like this on the Mac. The iOS app doesn't really support tags, other than showing smart stacks you create from the Mac with them.

Here are how you can use tags:

    1. Select All Notes, and type a tag name in the filter bar to filter. Select All notes there, and start a study session for 'Selected Notes'
    2. Create a Smart Stack on Mac, with a tag as the search option. Select that stack, and study. Smart Stack will also sync to iOS.

Hopefully this is useful for study purposes. If not, let me know more specifically how you would like to use it.

    Kind regards,
    Drew

    Hi,

as a matter of fact, i would like to be able to initiate TAG sessions "on the fly" on iOS, without having to rely on smart stacks on os X.

One possible use would be to study just one part of the French verb system f.ex.
I could have a stack with all verbs, and i would like to have a session for just the -er verbs, or -ir ones, or -re ones etc, or any subcategory i would like, as long as it's TAGGED. I possibly can't create smart stacks on the forehand for any TAG selection i want to practice while being on the move with iOS.

    thanks

OK, I think I understand your use case.

A temporary workaround may be to split your stacks up. You can use groups to organize the smaller stacks.

But I understand the request and we will consider it.

    Kind regards,
    Drew
