bug - grading of last note in study session on mac not recognized

I think I've mentioned this before, but I was reminded of it when I study All Due Notes on the mac app today (in order to test sync time afterwards on iphone). Whenever you choose to Study All Due Notes (not sure if it is true of other study sessions) after you grade the final card and exit, the app will still show the study session as unfinished, with the final note still due. To fix it, you have to select Continue Session and go back into the study session again and grade the final note one more time. Only then when you choose Exit, will the app recognize the final note as having been studied and the session as complete.

It is working for me. As long as you are on the last facet of the last note, it will grade the note when you exit, making it undue. If you don't look at the last facet, and you don't grade the note manually, it will be conservative and assume you still haven't studied it.

I look at the note and grade it manually. Maybe it has something to do with the number of cards in the session before it manifests. It's been going on for a long time so I've tested it many times to make sure I've graded it before I exit. Keep in mind you have to test this with the LAST due note of the session. So if you have 80 notes due, you have to test it on the 80th due note. The 10th due note will not have this problem.

Tested this again after installing mac update and doing the reset. The bug still exists. I suspect you are overlooking it by only looking at the due notes count. The due notes count is not the problem. That will show none due. But if you look at the Continue Study field at the top, that will still be active, and when you click on it, it will bring up the final note in the Study Session you just completed. Only then when you click on Exit the second time, will the Continue Study field become inactive and "gray out".

Or it may be that you are not testing it by going studying due notes all the way to the final due note and grading it before exiting, but instead are just testing out a note and exiting the session before it is complete.

Ah, yes, you are right about that. That is indeed a bug. But it is purely cosmetic. The slideshow is actually finished, and the note is properly graded. Just the button does not become disabled (for a reason I don’t yet understand).

Who knows, maybe it is a manifestation related to the same issue I am having with long syncs.

Don’t think so. I have seen that bug myself. It is some UI glitch. For some reason the button does not refresh, even though it is supposed to.
