Audio playback settings
hye,
I would like to suggest customized settings for audio playback.
When studying, one doesn't always want to immediately hear the
right answer of the word to memorize.
I know there's a workaround adding a third facet to the flashcard,
but this is very cumbersome when studying large amounts of
vocabulary, especially on an iOS device.
Why not giving the user the possibility to choose between (f.ex.) the following options:
-
AUTO REPLAY
This is the current option. When adding audio to a facet, it plays back immediately when the card is called upon. -
SET DELAY
When I want to find the right answer first, this option would let me set the delay i judge comfortable (2, 3 seconds or more) before the audio plays back. -
AUDIO PROMPT
This would simply add a button (or a keyboard shortcut) to the (facet of the) flashcard, I have to click in order to activate the audio playback.
This way, I can choose to hear the audio only when necessary, skipping right to the next flashcard when I'm sure of the right answer.
It would be nice to make this possible either for stacks or individual flashcards.
