Adding Tags
Hye,
I would like to suggest the ability to add customized TAGS,
either to individual flashcards or their respective stack.
Sometimes I just want to review a certain class of vocabulary,
f.ex. all the verbs, or nouns, the flashcards of which are
scattered throughout several stacks.
It's curious that such a basic option, which would greatly enhance studying vocabulary, isn't yet implemented in such a quality app as Mentalcase.
Thanks

hye,
I just wondered why the discussion got closed without reply from the staff...
I do think this would be a very helpful addition to your app...

@huesnie, It seems as though Mental Case actually already does support tags (see my attached images)
I don't blame you for being confused; the documentation for the app definitely isn't comprehensive. The documentation that is there is very nice, but I don't know (for example) if you can add or remove tags to more than one card at a time.
I hope this helps!

@ Josh T
hye and thanks for pointing this out to me. Wondered why the staff couldn't just do so...
I've been just playing around with this on the desktop version and every flashcard seems to accept multiple tags, I can filter out the tags by searching for them in the search bar. So this is a great help.
I'll have to check out whether this is possible on the iOS version too.
In the search bar however, I seem to be able to search just by one tag at a time, so apparently no multiple tag search yet...
PS: where did you find documentation for the app? There's just the help section from within the app itself right?
thanks again !

This comment was split into a new discussion: Slow Mental Case
I'm not sure if I'm overlooking something in this thread - when I search "slow" this comes up & seems somewhat relevant to an issue I'm also having but I don't see anything in here specifically addressing "slow."
I recently updated to a brand new MacBook Air (ohmy! i do so love it!) It's still nearly barebones with a TB external for any real storage needs. Still, however, when trying to configure parameters for a smart stack, tabbing (or clicking) between any fields sends the CPU over 100% & gives me 10-15 secs of spinning color wheel. It's essentially unusable for this task. This defeats any streamlining purpose it's intended for :( . I am really loving the App & the wide-range of possibilities I see for my personal needs, but this hang up has really made for a frustrating first few days.
Please help, if you can!
:)

Hi heusnie
Your question was closed by mistake. Documentation is in the Help menu within the app itself. If you have any other questions you can always ask here.
