Latex is possible. It is a reasonably niche group of users. I'm
still inclined to think it may be better to simply create formulas
in an external editor. a) the editor will be better than anything
we can do, and b) the resulting image will work everywhere. Does
Anki support latex on the iPhone? I suspect that that may be
difficult.</p>
<p>Thanks for the feedback.</p>

<p>My current workflow to get latex into Mental Case is using the
little application called LatexIt! which creates an image of your
latex code, that you can simply drag out or copy in your desired
format. I guess a way Mental Case could implement this is to create
an image file when you make a card with latex code, and then the
processed image, and not the code itself, would be synced to the
iPhone version.</p>
<p>I think Anki iPhone does support latex created on the desktop
version (in a similar manner to what I described above). But I
haven't tried it myself, so I can't comment on how well it is
implemented...</p>
<p>I'm loving the always fast and informative responses from the
developer! It really makes a lot of a difference (compared to some
applications that should not be named...)!</p>
<p>All the best,<br>
