The easiest way to start a slideshow that will have slides in it is just to select a stack of notes, so they appear in the 3D browser, and then go to the slideshow button at the bottom and choose the option to view all the notes in the stack. As long as there are notes in the stack, it will start the slideshow.
If you want more control over preparing the slideshow, you can use the custom settings.
Kind regards,
Drew

I keep having the same problem when trying to make multiple choice slide show's. It works fine for some stacks, but not other. (all my stacks have the same properties).

Not all notes can be used to make a multiple choice quiz.
For a standard quiz, you need to have notes with...
1) A question, which has the setting 'Can be used as prompt' turned on.
2) One correct response, which has the facet setting for multiple choice 'true'
3) One or more wrong choices that have the facet setting for multiple choice 'false'.
Starting a multiple choice quiz for a stack with notes like this should work.
You can also make so-called 'Shared choices' quizzes. For these you need
1) A question, which has 'Can be used as prompt' turned on
2) A correct answer
If you start a shared choices quiz, it will use the answer from other notes to make up the incorrect options.
If you follow these rules, the quizzes should work.
Also check whether you have 'Only Due Notes' turned on. If you do, and there are no due notes, then your slideshow will be empty.
Hope that helps.
Kind regards,
Drew
