Quizlet

I love how you guys have added the ability to download directly from Quizlet, especially since it copies photos that appear on the notecards. The only problem is that the images are soooo tiny (often to the point where they are unreadable). There are 2 versions of every photo on quizlet: The real large photo & the smaller sample version. I noticed just a small tweak in the URL and you can have access to the larger photo. Any chance you could add that to the next version please?

I attached an example. You can see how removing the "_m" at the very end of the url gives you the full, clearer image.

Thanks for the feedback. We will look into this and see if we can improve it in an upcoming release.

    Kind regards,

Thank you. I greatly appreciate it! Any general timeframe for when a new version is coming out (either ios or OSX)?

I'm afraid I can't give any estimate. We will probably need to contact Quizlet to make sure this is actually a supported approach to getting a high-resolution image. If we don't do that, it may stop working without notice in future.

    Kind regards,
    Drew

I agree. It is most important to make sure this is a stable fix. Obviously I don't have experience in coding, so feel free to ignore my comments if I am way off base. I checked quizlet sets from as far as I could find that contained photos (September 2009) and they seem to have URL "_m" as well. So the good news is it hasn't changed it in at least the last 4 years.

Also, I'm sure this all depends on how Mental Case is coded to copy the images. At the top of each quizlet set you can run through all the cards (small images with the "_m"). Yes you can just delete the "_m" to see the large image OR you click the "Expand to Full Screen" and you find yourself looking at the real full size image. So, if you feel uneasy about using the URL alteration you can get access to the images in safer manner.

Regardless of whether this is possible, I appreciate you and the Mental Case staff for helping and addressing my suggestions!

It looks like this is supported by Quizlet, so we will look to add it.

Perfect! I can't tell you how helpful this is to me (and I'm sure many other Mental Case users). Thank you Drew!
