Suggestions for 2.0
I have been using the program for a while now and find it extremely useful. I'm excited about a lot of what's coming in 2.0, but there are two things I am hoping to see that I don't know if they are on your list or not:
1) The cases in the left-hand panel each show a count next to them of how many notes are in that case. I would like to see that count reflect how many notes need to be studied, rather than just the total note count. Assuming other people find the total note count useful there (I don't), the display could either be in the form of "3/10" to show you have 10 total notes in that case, of which 3 need to be studied, or there could be a user preference as to which number is shown there.
2) Spaced repetition is fantastic, but I want to be able to customize the schedule. In the current version the intervals are always 1/3/7/16... days. The schedule option only changes how many times each interval is repeated, or you can choose a fixed interval. Ideally I would like to be able to specify my own spaced intervals. If that's too complicated, then a reasonable fallback might be providing more presets, particularly for shorter intervals (1/5/10/30/60 minutes, for example).
Thanks for listening!

Hi Dan,
Thanks for the feedback.
We are definitely going to show cards due in some way. Not sure exactly how, but it will be in the badge.
Scheduling is changing. We aren't planning to allow custom schedules, but we do have different types of schedules now. Eg cramming, which is not time based, and a schedule to target a date like an exam. We have regular multiday too. For less than a day, I would recommend the cram mode.
Are you interested in helping with beta testing?
Kind regards,
Drew

I think something like Pimsleur's intervals would be useful for simple lists of items that need to be memorized (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spaced_repetition#Pimsleur.27s_graduat...) - but I'm looking forward to seeing what the new schedules are like.
I'd be happy to beta test, given some confidence that my ever-growing note set isn't at risk.

The beta will just copy data, so version 1 data should be safe.
I don't think the interval method you mentioned could work in MC. The intervals are so short, they would need a specialized app, not one based around slideshows like MC has. Perhaps you could use the cram mode, and then switch to spaced repetition.
