Are there plans for web based back up for the notes ie so the notes are updated across devices easier? I am finding it a bit of hassel with them having different versions across devices.

    In short: yes.
We are planning iCloud syncing for later in the year.

    Kind regards,

I'd really like to see this too. In the mean time, how hard would sync via dropbox be? An example of a program that does this is LicenseKeeper.

Syncing is a very difficult problem. Dropbox is fine for file based syncing, but we sync at a lot finer level of detail. Evernote is also not really flexible enough to support our full stack of metadata.
The good news is that iCloud is coming, and it seems like the ideal solution. Our plan is to try to support syncing via iCloud.
