This really isn't anything big, but it bugs me. When you do a slideshow, why does it always say "prompt" in the upper right corner? Can I get that removed?

Hi Philip,
You can't remove it. It is there to remind you the role of that side. In some cases it may be obvious, and in others not.
In future we will add n-sided notes, each with a different 'role'. When we do that, the label will become more important.
