Are there any plans to translate Mental Flash Cards to
German?
I would really appreciate it!

We would like to do that, but the app needs to be a bit more stable first. We have some very big changes coming, so now is not such a good time to do it.
Kind regards,
Drew

German would be very helpful, ie for helping childs in their schoolwork

We are thinking about text-to-speech options, but they require a lot of data, making the app very large.
But we'll see what we can do.

Couldn't there be used Mac's VoiceOver voices. As for me, I am using German Anna and it is - almost sure the Acapela Julia. So why bundle languages instead of advice to install Mac voices. For example you can output with apple script "say (text) with "Voice name"

Sorry, I thought you meant iOS.
Yes, the Mac is much easier. We will be adding a tts option.
Kind regards,
Drew

In fact, I did not mean voice output, but the possibility to chance the language of the application! That would be useful and not that difficult!

We may localize in a little while. We haven't done it just yet because the software is still in a state of flux, and we want to stabilize it first, because localizing slows progress.
