What limitations exist when syncing Mental Case 2.0 with an iOS device?
Mental Case 2.0 is much more advanced than Mental Case 1.9, and some features are not yet supported in the iOS versions of Mental Case. You should be aware of these limitations when syncing.
-
Formatted text is not supported in Mental Case on iOS, so plain text is used. If you edit a note, any formatting it had will be lost when you sync the changes back to the Mac.
-
Mental Case on iOS can only edit notes with up to 2 facets. Extra facets are transferred to the device, and shown in slideshows for study, but you cannot edit them.
-
You cannot study multiple-choice slideshows on iOS.
All of these limitations should be addressed in a major upgrade to the iOS app. At that time, iCloud syncing will also be added.
